Intraoral Cameras

Designed to help patients see what Dr. J sees, intraoral cameras are camera-tipped devices that scan a person’s teeth and gums, transferring the images in real-time to a nearby monitor. Patients can easily view the inside of their mouths while our team discusses problem areas and the need for and importance of treatment. Instead of simply listening to what the dentist is saying, individuals can now see it for themselves thanks to these Mouthwatch intraoral cameras.

All-Digital X-Rays

Emitting much less radiation than traditional X-rays, our all-digital Dexis X-rays make it easier for our dentists to capture high-resolution images of patients’ smiles. While harsh chemicals were used and lots of time was spent in a darkroom developing film, the radiographs of today can be quickly uploaded to computers, saved to online files, and easily transferred to outside specialists in less time.

3D Cone Beam Imaging

Dental implant treatment, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures can be better planned when we use our Genodex Oanoramic and CBCT 3D Cone Beam Imaging system. Taking a 360-degree scan of a person’s head, it takes hundreds of pictures of the oral and facial structures, making it easy to identify the teeth, gums, nerves, tissues, jawbone, and other nearby structures that must be considered when preparing an extensive treatment plan.

Digital Impression System

To ensure a proper fit once a restoration is created, dentists must capture accurate teeth impressions. This can be difficult and often unsuccessful when using cold, messy dental putty. However, with the new and improved iTero digital impression system, we can quickly scan a patient’s smile, causing the images to appear on a nearby computer monitor and creating a three-dimensional model. This allows our team to make any necessary adjustments before sending the images to a local laboratory.

Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry

Our Periolase and Fotona hard and soft tissue lasers make it easy for our team to perform an array of treatments in a much less invasive way. From minor fillings to gum disease therapy and more, these unique lasers eliminate the need for traditional scalpels and sutures as well as drilling.
