Dental implants are becoming the leading solution for replacing missing teeth for their durability, function and appearance. Dental implants will restore your ability to speak freely, laugh confidently and eat whatever you want.

Dental Implants are made of titanium posts that are placed directly into the jawbone. These posts will fuse to the bone, creating an incredibly strong bond in a process called osseointegration. This process typically takes between 3-6 months. When the implant is fused, it acts as a natural tooth root would. An abutment will then be placed on the post that will act as a foundation for our final restorative crown. Each dental implant is custom-made to fit your smile perfectly.
- Dental Implants can help maintain a youthful appearance by preserving the structure of your jawbone.
- They blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.
- They allow you to eat, speak and smile freely. You won’t have to worry about them slipping or sliding.
- With proper care, they should last a lifetime.
The process of getting a dental implant takes a few months, but considering they last a lifetime, the wait is well worth it. The fusion process typically takes between 3-6 months and then you will receive your final restorations.
If you have one or more missing teeth, it is likely that you are a good candidate for dental implants. Those who have let missing teeth go untreated for a while may have a more difficult time getting dental implants because of the loss of bone that has taken place. However, we can recommend a bone graft if necessary for your situation.
Dental implants may be more expensive up front than alternative teeth replacement methods, but the long-term benefits far outweigh the cost. They are a one-time fee as opposed to dentures or dental bridges, which require years of maintenance and potentially even replacement. Your dental implants will last you a lifetime. The actual cost is determined by how many implants you need and whether or not you will need a bone graft. When you come in for your dental implant consultation, we will be able to give you a better estimation on your individual cost. However, a healthy and beautiful smile is priceless.
