At HJ Dental, Dr. J works closely with our staff to ensure all dental patients receive care that goes above and beyond the basics. With dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative team members, we create a well-functioning group who are here to ensure you and your family enjoy your visit from beginning to end. Desiree, Dental Hygienist
Desiree brings over 20 years of experience to our team, and she loves to interact with so many different people every day. She especially likes to help nervous and anxious patients have a good experience during hygiene appointments. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University System. In addition, she has certifications in nitrous oxide monitoring and advanced laser treatments.
Desiree and her husband, Karl, have been married for over 30 years and have two college-aged children. They are getting used to being empty-nesters and she enjoys trying new restaurants and cocktails, streaming movies, baking pies and cakes for staff birthdays and traveling.
Caroline, Front Office Manager
Caroline has worked in the field of dentistry for over 19 years and at HJ Dental for eleven years. She loves getting to see the same happy, friendly faces every day, and she goes above and beyond to make sure our patients leave our dental office with a smile. She attended Tyler Junior College, is CPR-certified, and has completed OSHA’s training in preventing the transmission of bloodborne pathogens.
Although Caroline was born in Honduras, she grew up in Athens, TX. She is married to Charles, and they have two sons, Cameron and Evan, whom they adore. They also have a border collie named Penny. Outside of the dental office, Caroline enjoys traveling, gardening, hanging out with friends and family, doing her own nails, and doing home projects like painting and crafting things from everyday items.
Brogan, Front Office / Registered Dental Assistant
As the dental office prankster, Brogan is always keeping everyone on their toes! However, she also loves seeing our patients every day, especially the ones who have struggled with dental fear; it lets her know we’re providing excellent care. Brogan has worked in the dental field for 16 years so far, with eight of them spent as part of our HJ Dental team. She attended Dallas College Mountain View Campus as well as the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Additionally, she has completed advanced training in several areas, including CPR, iTero, Zoom! Teeth Whitening, and nitrous oxide.
A Dallas native, Brogan has a husband of five years as well as two beautiful daughters aged twelve and six. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with her family, whether it’s going out to dinner, hanging out at the park, or just playing games together at home. As a family, they love to travel and are always looking for their next adventure.
Natasha, Clinical Team Lead / Registered Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Zelenodolsk, Ukraine, Natasha moved to the United States in 1999. About a decade later, she graduated from the National School of Dental Assisting in Plano, TX, and joined our team shortly after that. She loves having the opportunity to make a difference in our patients’ lives by helping them overcome their anxieties and fears, become more confident, and learn to love their smiles.
Natasha lives in Frisco with her wonderful husband Paul. They have a toy poodle named Shadow and a Tabby cat named Penelope. Two of Natasha’s main hobbies are making jewelry and playing pool. In fact, she is a member of the American Pool Players Association in Dallas and has even competed in the USA Pool League National Championship tournaments in Las Vegas!
Jessica, Registered Dental Assistant
Jessica has worked as a dental assistant for over seven years now, five of which took place at our dental office. Being able to help our patients while working with such a great team every day makes her happy. Since attending Elite Dental Assisting School, she has obtained certifications in dental X-rays, Zoom! Teeth Whitening, iTero, and CPR.
Jessica grew up right here in Dallas and is proud to say that her family is very united. She has two sons whom she loves having fun and experiencing new things, and she cherishes being able to experience those things with them. They also have a very playful dog named Chop. One interesting fact about Jessica is that she loves cooking.
Abby, Registered Dental Assistant
Abby joined our team in 2020 after graduating from the Dallas County Dental Society (DCDS) Dental Assisting School. She is certified to administer CPR and has training in minimizing bloodborne pathogens. She loves getting to meet new people and helping them feel comfortable when they’re in the dental chair.
Abby is a Dallas native. She recently joined the Army reserves. In her spare time, Abby enjoys visiting new places and especially trying new restaurants.
CECILIA , FRONT DESK/INSURANCE LIASON
I've worked in the dental field for 20 years and joined the team one year ago. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. I assisted for 18 years before I transitioned to the front. My favorite part of working in dentistry is making the patients feel comfortable and educating patients on treatment that is needed. I'm married with 3 children (2 young adults and a teenager) and 2 fur babies (Annie & Snow). On my spare time I like to read, try new bbq places, and hanging out with family.
